Privacy Policy for Qwen Video Factory

Effective date: [DATE OF FIRST PUBLISH]

Qwen Video Factory is a Chrome extension that automates bulk prompt submission for video generation on chat.qwen.ai. This policy explains what data it accesses, how it's used, and what is (and isn't) collected.

In short: Qwen Video Factory runs entirely inside your own browser, on your own chat.qwen.ai account. It does not have a server, does not transmit your prompts or activity anywhere, and does not sell or share data with anyone.

What Qwen Video Factory accesses

To do its job — queueing and submitting prompts on your behalf — Qwen Video Factory reads and interacts with the content of the chat.qwen.ai page that you have open. Specifically, it:

chat.qwen.ai is the only site whose content Qwen Video Factory reads or modifies, and the only destination any of your prompts, credentials, or generated results are ever sent to. Separately, the extension periodically makes network-only requests to two well-known ad-serving test URLs (static.doubleclick.net and pagead2.googlesyndication.com) purely to detect whether an ad blocker is active in your browser — no data is sent to or read from these URLs; whether the request itself succeeds or is blocked is the only signal used, and the result never leaves your device.

Account rotation and credentials

Qwen Video Factory optionally supports loading a plaintext accounts file (email/password pairs you supply) so a bulk run can keep going past a single account's daily generation limit by logging into the next account. If you use this feature:

Without an accounts file loaded, Qwen Video Factory does not create, manage, or switch between chat.qwen.ai accounts — the queue simply stops when the daily limit is reached, and waits for you to resume it once your quota resets.

What Qwen Video Factory does not do

Qwen Video Factory does not collect or transmit, to any server or third party:

Where your data lives

Qwen Video Factory stores the following locally in your browser only, using Chrome's built-in storage APIs. This data never leaves your device:

Loaded account credentials, if you use that optional feature, live only in the side panel's in-memory state as described above — not in chrome.storage.local.

Qwen Video Factory has no backend server. There is nowhere for this data to be sent, because no such destination exists.

Permissions Qwen Video Factory uses, and why

Sharing and selling of data

Qwen Video Factory does not sell, rent, or transfer any user data to third parties. It does not use data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to running your own prompt queue on your own chat.qwen.ai account.

Children's privacy

Qwen Video Factory is not directed at, or knowingly used by, children. It is a developer/creator productivity tool intended for adult use in connection with a chat.qwen.ai account.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised effective date. Material changes affecting how your data is handled will also be reflected in Qwen Video Factory's Chrome Web Store listing, if and when it is published there.
